The new Dalton Review® is organized into 45 chapters, each one following the same architecture, so students always know exactly where to look and what to expect next.

Guided structure

When students jump into the program, they’re not on their own. Onboarding walks them through a Review Readiness Assessment first, then into the course itself. From there, students move chapter by chapter, with the flexibility to jump ahead if they’ve already got a topic down or double back to review. Each chapter has an introduction, a Quick Reference Guide, Micro Learning Units, case studies, and practice questions.

Live classes are accessed right inside the course. Instructors teach live from the same book-mapped content, so what happens in a live class and what a student studies online are never out of sync.

Quick Reference Guides distill every formula, rule, and definition from a chapter into a single exam-focused reference. They’re designed specifically for review, to refresh key concepts in minutes instead of hours.

Micro Learning Units

Each chapter is broken into Micro Learning Units. These self-contained lessons focus on a single high-miss topic and include helpful elements like worked examples, visual aids, and “Where Test-Takers Struggle” breakdowns that name the exact misconception the exam is designed to catch.

Realistic case studies

In the Micro Learning Units, multi-step client scenarios are walked through from problem to solution, so students see the reasoning behind each answer. Later in the course, case study practice questions mirror the vignettes candidates see on exam day. The layout keeps the client details pinned on one side of the screen and the questions on the other, so students can work through them exactly how they’ll be tested on the real exam.
